Awkward Winter Sill Kit
A drip-strip kit for condensate that walks off the sill and onto the floor. It is not a mould cure and it is not a heated airer.

What it is
Single glazing, a cold snap, and a kettle in a small room will put water on the sill. The kit is drip strips and the pieces you need to catch that run before it becomes a puddle by the skirting.
Fit it for winter. Take it off in April. It does not treat mould, dry a flat, or replace ventilation. If the window weeps, this is the small, reversible catch — not a chemical story and not a clothes-horse with a plug.
Measured
- Job
- Catch sill condensate
- Form
- Drip-strip kit
- Fit
- Interior sill; seasonal
- Price
- £29.99
In the box
- Interior drip strips
- Seasonal fixings for a sill you do not own
- A short fit note for condensate, not décor
Who it is for
- Rooms where the sill weeps onto the floor or the radiator cover.
- Single glazing, older aluminium, or a poorly sealed trickle vent.
- People who will not buy a heated airer to solve a puddle.
It does
- Drip strips for the interior sill
- Fixings for a temporary winter fit
- Meant for condensate run-off, not décor
It does not
- Not a mould treatment or illness claim
- Not a heated airer
- Not a replacement for opening a window when you can
- Not a copy of a high-street sealant brand
How to use it
- Wipe the sill dry before you start. Wet paint and loose silicone are a bad base.
- Set the strips to catch the run at the interior edge, not to seal the whole frame.
- Check after the first cold night. Adjust, do not caulk the world.
- In spring, lift it. This is winter kit.
Straight answers
- Does this treat mould?
- No. It catches condensate so it is less likely to walk onto the floor. Mould, damp surveys, and illness claims are outside this SKU.
- Is it a heated airer?
- No. Nothing here dries laundry or heats the room.
- Can I leave it on in July?
- You can. You should not need to. It is a winter catch.
